This online course will explore the narrative of our dominant culture and the practice of building regenerative culture. We will explore patho-adolescence and its role in perpetuating the dominant cultural narrative, what monoculture is particularly relating to the role of economics, and the myth of separation that informs much of our cultural design. We will learn the five Sourced Design principles and how they foster vitality and build regenerative culture and the three facets necessary to build life giving culture: eco-centric development, shared generative myth, and commitment to place over time.
This course will include relationship building amongst participants through vitality-centered practices like opening and closing embodied ritual, courageous conversations, and other creative practices. The course will be informed by Dr. Finn’s 25 years of practice in this field, the work of scholars and practitioners like Dr. Bill Plotkin, F.S. Michaels, Thomas Berry, and more.
