Winter Celebration: An Evening of Inspiration

Join Springhouse and the Christiansburg Institute for a Winter Celebration: An Evening of Inspiration with Stories, Music, & Dining on Saturday, December 10th, 5-8PM.

Springhouse and the Christiansburg Institute are joining together to host a collaborative fundraising event. We are working with a local chef and food producers to create a delicious meal and are thrilled to announce a musical performance by Glen Holmes and band. Our keynote speakers, Chris Sanchez and Debbie Sherman-Lee of the Christiansburg Institute, will present storytelling as an opportunity to remember, reclaim, and empower. This event will be sure to spark inspiration for all who attend!

A Silent Auction will be held from 5-7:30PM with items donated by regional businesses. Join us as we gather to celebrate and FUNraise for two unique educational organizations!

The Dinner Menu, locally catered by Lindsey Rena Harper:

• Kale salad with pickled red onion, carrot, sunflower seed, creamy lemon dressing
• Red wine braised pork
  
• Vegetarian option: hearty braised heirloom beans
• Roasted root veggies with herbs
• Creamy baked rice with mushrooms, Swiss chard, and garlic
• Squash pie (like pumpkin pie) with whipped cream

We ask that people who join us for this special event help cover the food and catering costs of $25 per plate.

If this amount is cost prohibitive, please contribute what you are able as we trust that our needs will be met. Any amount over will go towards covering costs for the event.
