Open Studio

A Space for Creatives

“There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. …You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open.” ~Martha Graham

Springhouse Downtown programming includes regular open studio opportunities.

Open Studio

Open Studio is an invitation towards your creative self. Our goal is to establish an open, intergenerational space for co-creation, inspiration, and play. Working artists, teens, and folks who want to move towards creativity and the vitality inside them are invited to drop in and join us in creating this dynamic space. Some tools and materials are provided, but feel free to bring any of your ongoing projects and work on them at the space!

Join us Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4pm – 7pm

When determining of your financial contribution, we ask you to consider:

  • Program Value: We found comparable programs valued at $15-$125
  • Dream Contribution: How much would you like to contribute if you had the means?
  • Personal Means: Look at your household budget to see what’s actually possible. We can arrange a payment plan if that is helpful.
