How do we fully engage a moving meditation practice? One way we will explore this question is by moving to five different universal rhythms within the structure of an asana practice. A beautiful compliment to Springhouse’s Sacred Dance offerings, “The Rhythms of Yoga” takes you through practices that explore facets of our own natural rhythms: Grounding and flowing, angular and direct, messy and fast, heart-opening and authentic, and reflective and still.
Series of six classes, held on TUESDAYS, 6:15-7:45 PM
We will be practicing indoors (mask required) during the cooler months. If there is warmer weather, class will be held outdoors. Some yoga experience is recommended, though all classes will be offered in an all-levels fashion.
Dates: January 18, February 1, February 8, February 15, March 1, March 15, March 29, April 12
Facilitated by H Leopold (they/them). H is a 200HR RYT with hundreds of hours of teaching experience, which ranges from teen-only offerings and queer yoga, to mini yoga retreats, gentle practices with seniors, and all-levels flow. They are passionate about creating safe, welcoming, and intimate spaces where all can experience healing.
