You are invited to join folks from Springhouse, the Unitarian Universalist congregation, and the Christiansburg Institute for a conversation exploring the importance of community in finding our way to authentic justice. Students at Springhouse have been reading “Just Mercy” by Brian Stevenson and learning about the criminal justice system. They will help guide the conversation, invite different perspectives, and offer a creative activity for participants. Reading the book, or watching the movie “Just Mercy,” might provide helpful context, but they are not prerequisites for participation in the conversation.
Organized by Springhouse and made possible with a grant from Virginia Humanities.
