Creating Beloved Communities: A Study Group for Community Leaders

This is a group for community leaders who want to strengthen the relationship they have with themselves in order to more clearly, courageously, creatively, and compassionately serve their communities.

In this monthly study group, we study the design principles that build beloved community at Springhouse and beyond. We explore through inspiring practices and group dialogue how to take care of vulnerability in ourselves and in the people and places around us. We learn how to cultivate our personhood more deeply, and explore how to facilitate communities that respect individuality, foster unity, and take care of relationships.

We use the book Consider the Source: a design for living to ground our study in the actual practice and cultural experiment we have engaged in at Springhouse. Purchasing the book is recommended, but not required to join this study.

This group is led by Dr. Jenny Finn, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Springhouse, and meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 11am-12pm ET.
