This is the power of gathering: it inspires us, delightfully, to be more hopeful, more joyful, more thoughtful: in a word, more alive. ~ Alice Waters
The Annual Gathering is a day-long tradition that brings the global and local Springhouse community together to celebrate and learn what is possible when life is at the center of a cultural design. At this event, you will learn more about Sourced Design- the cultural design we practice and share globally. Those who attend are invited to participate in interactive experiences like singing, community conversations, lunch, dance, and more, that inspire and motivate us to take better care of the gift of Life.
Our 2023 Annual Gathering Keynote Speaker is Laura Strohminger. Laura has been connected to the Semester at Sea program for over 20 years, sailing as a Resident Director on the Fall 2001 Voyage. The experience transformed her life and led her on a path of exploring the world and the role she plays in it as an educator. Laura served in the Peace Corps in Mongolia and lived in northern India for a year. Laura has been a participant in Springhouse’s Sourced Design Labs and actively supports Springhouse.
