At Springhouse, we know what we care about. We care about regenerative culture, and we know that to create a culture that brings us alive, we must redesign education in ways that take care of life and provide opportunities for people to experience the vitality within and around them.

Through our school for regenerative culture builders, we seek to be a living example of the life giving culture we so deeply care about. The 2022 Annual Gathering theme is Building Beloved Community. The event schedule is below:

9-10 AM Gather & Light Breakfast

10-10:45 AM A Springhouse Welcome

10:45-11:15 AM Community Singing

12-1 PM Lunch and Music

2-3 PM Community Dance and Closing

Heather is a lifelong learner. Originally from Frederick, MD, she moved to the Blueridge Mountains in 1995 and graduated from Radford University with a B.S.W. and moved to Floyd, VA soon after graduating in 1999.  She has spent her years teaching, producing events, creating and participating in music education programs, writing songs with young people, learning to play and appreciate Old Time music from the area, and most importantly, raising her two children with her husband Dylan. She is the Mother of a soon to be Springhouse graduate and has been a Springhouse adult class participant for several years now. She and her husband are currently the owners and operators of the Floyd Country Store, which is a gathering space for the community and is best known by musicians and dancers as the place to be on a Friday night. 

Join us for the Springhouse Annual Gathering to celebrate and learn together about what is possible when we put life at the center.
