Depth Courses

Cultivating Relationship to Soul and Mystery

We offer depth courses that cultivate one’s relationship to soul and Mystery within a community. For those who are local and looking for a deeper exploration of self-study, consider participating in The Well, a weekly program where all participants are supported by a mentor.

Sacred Dance

At Springhouse, dance holds us together as a community in ways that words simply cannot. We dance to strengthen our bonds, to celebrate, and to summon the vitality, courage, and joy it takes to serve a world in need. We invite anyone who wants to reclaim their relationship with their bodies, and foster vitality within themselves in the safety of community, to join us. This practice is led by Dr. Jenny Finn, who has been building community with dance and creativity for over fifteen years.

NO dance experience is required and all abilities are welcome.

Sacred Dance Series (in-person)

Martha Graham, the late choreographer, writes “movement never lies.” The Sacred Dance series are community dance sessions held at the Springhouse campus where we explore the vulnerability and power of relationship to ourselves and each other through movement. The series are held seasonally (Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer) and are facilitated by Dr. Jenny Finn with assistance from Sarah Merfeld.

Sacred Dance Retreats (in-person)

Through movement, dialogue, ritual, and creative expression, we explore various aspects of our lives over the course of 3 days. Sacred Dance retreats are rich and dynamic opportunities to learn and grow within yourself and a beloved community. Retreats offer a deeper dive than individual dance sessions and often include other soul-centered practices like ritual, writing, creative expression, and more. Retreats are held at Springhouse and are facilitated by Dr. Jenny Finn with assistance from Sarah Merfeld.

Sacred Dance Monthly Drop-in

We’ve experienced that connection and magic are possible in our virtual realms, and that coming together is vital for strengthening our well-being during challenging times. We are continuing to offer a virtual Sacred Dance program to cultivate the practice of connecting to ourselves and one another through dance across the globe. Facilitated by Sarah Merfeld, Sacred Dance apprentice to Jenny Finn.

Rhythms of Yoga

How do we fully engage a moving meditation practice? One way we will explore this question is by moving to five different universal rhythms within the structure of an asana practice. A beautiful compliment to Springhouse’s Sacred Dance offerings, “The Rhythms of Yoga” takes you through practices that explore facets of our own natural rhythms: Grounding and flowing, angular and direct, messy and fast, heart-opening and authentic, and reflective and still. Some yoga experience is recommended, though all classes will be offered in an all-levels fashion.

Facilitator Bio: H Leopold (they/them) is a 200HR RYT with hundreds of hours of teaching experience, which ranges from teen-only offerings and queer yoga, to mini yoga retreats, gentle practices with seniors, and all-levels flow. They are passionate about creating safe, welcoming, and intimate spaces where all can experience healing.

The Well

The Well: A Place to Get Honest with Yourself

The Well is for people looking for deeper more consistent soul-centered, depth work. The Well is a 9-week program for adults interested in building a stronger relationship with the mystery within and around them. Within each person there are profound resources, hidden potentials and depths that we might not even know exist until we discover how to access them, cultivate their powers, and eventually integrate them into our lives.
