Creative Collective

A Space for Creatives

“There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. …You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open.” ~Martha Graham

The Creative Collective at Springhouse Downtown includes both coworking opportunities and a regular open studio.

Coworking

The Creative Collective is a coworking space for creatives. Whether you are coding, painting, or creating a small business, we work together to inspire one another and collaborate in downtown Floyd.

Join us Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am – 4pm

Open Studio

Open Studio is an invitation towards your creative self. Our goal is to establish an open, intergenerational space for co-creation, inspiration, and play. Working artists, teens, and folks who want to move towards creativity and the vitality inside them are invited to drop in and join us in creating this dynamic space. Some tools and materials are provided, but feel free to bring any of your ongoing projects and work on them at the space!

Join us Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4pm – 6pm

We see your financial contribution not as a fee-for-service transaction, but as an investment in our vision and mission. Contributions for all our programs are self-determined and no one is turned away for lack of resources. While we provide cost-estimates and value comparisons for our programs to inform investment, these are not suggested contributions. You can read a more detailed overview of our generative economic model here.

When determining of your financial contribution, we ask you to consider:

  • Program Costs: We estimate that on average it costs Springhouse $12 per participant per session/day to offer this program (OR $593 for the entire program). Note: We rely on some folks contributing more because some will need to contribute less
  • Program Value: We found comparable programs valued at $15-$125
  • Dream Contribution: How much would you like to contribute if you had the means?
  • Personal Means: Look at your household budget to see what’s actually possible. We can arrange a payment plan if that is helpful.
  • Personal Network: Consider the people you might know who can invest in a vision of regenerative culture. Reach out.
