Dear Springhouse community,

Exploring and discussing the roots of spirituality has always been at the center of my life ever since I can remember. I guess you could call me a life-long spiritual seeker. Springhouse’s adult online programming has given me the unique opportunity to feel united with others in an authentic community all around the world and adds to my spiritual development.

The Springhouse online Seasonal Meditations is such a beautiful way to reflect on the changing of the upcoming season through readings, silence, sharing, and blessings. I’ve also gained so much from the online group book study of Consider the Source: a design for living by Jenny Finn. Incorporating the 5 core Sourced Design principles in my everyday life even inspired me to start a book study in my own community. Learning and practicing the principles “love and serve others” and “create beloved community” was the spark I needed to share, create space, and inspire those to study this vitality centered design in my own neighborhood.

However, what I think is most special about Springhouse is their willingness to keep trying, to evolve, to grow and change, to be humble, to be honest, and to admit that practicing these principles is not all butterflies and puppy dogs. Envisioning a world where all life thrives and creating a larger culture where we live back to health is tough business. Nobody at Springhouse sugar coats that it takes hard, dedicated, long-term work to achieve.

I continue to look forward to not only seeing the vision of Springhouse unfolding day by day but also participating and supporting their efforts brings a sense of belonging in this community and to humanity as a whole.
